PIERCE EARS WITH EARRINGS WITH THICKER POSTS

For ear piercing, we use earrings with slightly thicker posts than regular earrings. Why? After removing the earring in the sixth week after piercing, the hole immediately shrinks. A thicker post provides an additional margin of safety. This way, you can easily put on a Blomdahl jewelry earring without risking irritation and infection of the delicate walls of the hole. Therefore, the earrings for ear piercing from Blomdahl have slightly thicker posts than regular earrings.

The wound from ear piercing heals for over a year. During this time, the risk of developing a nickel allergy is highest. GOLD IS NOT SO GOOD ANYMORE

About 10% of the population is allergic to gold. Therefore, leading dermatologists do not recommend using gold products for ear piercing and wearing gold earrings during the initial healing period.
